The conditions for using the DBerio app and the scope of liability of CodeSand Co., Ltd. (the "Company") are set out in Article 4 (Limitations of the Service and the User's Responsibility) and Article 12 (Disclaimer) of the Terms of Use. This document supplements those Articles by explaining what kind of material the information on this site (dberio.com) and in the App is, and how far it can be relied on. This document does not change the Terms or create new rights or obligations, and where anything here could be interpreted differently from the Terms, the Terms prevail.
Article 1 (Matters Common to All Published Content)
- Information on this site is written as of the time it was published. When the App is updated, its features, screens, shortcuts and supported range may differ from the description.
- The Company makes reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and current, but is not responsible for decisions Users make based on that information or for their results.
Article 2 (Guidance by Type of Material)
2-1. Product Introduction and Pricing
The product introduction, feature lists, screen recordings and screenshots are informational material to introduce the App. Screens may look different depending on the App version, the operating system and the connected database. For the actual subscription price and free-trial terms, what each store (the Mac App Store or the Microsoft Store) shows at the time of payment takes precedence.
2-2. Documentation, Guides and Shortcut Lists
SQL, Redis commands and configuration examples in the documentation and guides are for reference only.
- Examples are based on the database versions current at the time of writing. If the server type or version differs, the same command may produce different results.
- Before running a command that changes or deletes data on a production database, verify it in a test environment and make a backup. The App passes the commands the User runs to the server as they are, and the User who runs them is responsible for the results (Terms, Article 4).
- Safeguards such as the App's "Mark as production server" are aids to reduce mistakes and do not protect or recover data.
- Shortcut lists are based on the App's default keymap. Behavior may differ if the operating system or another program uses the same key first.
2-3. Release Notes
Release notes summarize the changes at the time a version is released. Statements about future plans or schedules may change and do not bind the Company.
Article 3 (External Links and the App Store)
- Links to external sites included on this site and in the App (such as official database documentation) are provided for convenience. The Company does not warrant or take responsibility for the content, accuracy or operation of external sites, and once the User moves to an external site, that site's terms and privacy policy apply.
- Mac App Store and Microsoft Store links are there to show where the App can be downloaded. Payment, subscription management and refunds are handled by the operator of each store (Apple or Microsoft), and ratings, reviews and rankings shown in each store are also managed by its operator.
Article 4 (Trademarks and Third-Party Names)
- MySQL is a registered trademark of Oracle Corporation and its affiliates. MariaDB is a trademark of MariaDB plc. PostgreSQL is a trademark of the PostgreSQL Community Association of Canada. Redis is a registered trademark of Redis Ltd. Any rights therein are reserved to Redis Ltd. SQLite is a trademark of Hipp, Wyrick & Company, Inc. Apple, Mac, macOS and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. Microsoft, Windows and Microsoft Store are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. Other company names, product names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners.
- The Company displays these names to describe and identify which databases DBerio connects to. Their display does not in itself mean any affiliation, sponsorship, recommendation or endorsement between the Company and the relevant owners. DBerio is not made or certified by those owners.
- Content describing compatibility with other database tools (for example, a familiar shortcut layout) is meant to explain features and does not mean any relationship with the makers of those products.
Article 5 (Nature of Answers to Inquiries)
Answers to inquiries are general guidance given within the scope of what the person in charge has checked. Answers about the User's database design, performance tuning or failure recovery are reference information, and the Company is not responsible for the results of applying them.
Article 6 (If You Find Incorrect Information)
If you find that a description on this site or in the App differs from how the App actually works, or is out of date, please let us know at the address below. We will correct it after checking.
